I’ve made my decision. No forces in the world can stop me. I am getting an XBOX 360.

See, I’ve been drooling over that piece of equipment ever since I was blinded by its white shiny casing and green-colored light around the power button. I tell you, it seems like Bill knocked on my door and asked me, “Mark, if we will design the next xbox, what color would you like it to be?” Well, obviously a lot of people love white but GREEN and WHITE…what are the chances?
Look how pretty:

See, a lot of these so-called forces are trying to prevent me from owning this thing. Let me count:

Money
Ahhh…the biggest factor. Hmmm…lemme see, I earn just enough a month for food, hobbies and paying my monthly credit card bills, how can I buy a 20,000 peso gadget? I know! Sell my Desktop! See, ever since I got my mac I don’t want to touch my Windows box at home with a ten foot pole. That would get me at least 15,000. The rest I guess I could charge it and add another 5,000 to my already huge debt.

Travel
There’s no way I’m buying one locally since it’s hella expensive here. Fifty thousand bucks for a Premium US version? Are you kidding me? A press release says that the 360 will be arriving in Hong Kong on March 2 which is just perfect since we’re going there on the 9th. The problem? The Civil Aeronautics Board has only given Tiger Airways permit to fly it’s Clark-Macau route until the 27th of February. I’m a bit worried but there’s a good chance that their permit will be renewed on the time of our flight. God, I hope so.

Shortage
It’s not new information that there’s an XBOX 360 shortage. Well, in the United States at least because the 360s in Japan are growing green things. And I’m not talking about the power button. See, they said they’ll release it on the 2nd in Hong Kong but some evil forces at work perform their voodoo and push it back to the 16th to my dismay. WE’LL BE BACK IN MANILA BY THE 13TH!!! %*#)@&% $@|)! No, I won’t let that stop me…I have a plan. After staying at the luxurious Disneyland Hollywood Hotel, we’ll be transferring to a not-so-luxurious hostel. Yeah, I’m talking about small cramped spaces, no room service and a psycho-maniac killer cutting people up. Oh wait, that’s from a movie. Anyway, yeah…a stay at a hostel would allow us to survive until the 16th without starving to death.

See? I would do anything to get my hands on that XBOX 360. Well, I won’t kill. Probably. Maybe. Would I? Anyway before you report me to the police…let me just say that by March 16th, I’ll be ready to…
