I’m getting my backpay on Monday…yay! I’m getting a new phone. Though I love my trusty white SE Z520i, I had to let it go because I had to pay my credit card bills that time and I didn’t have any money. Good thing Paul bought it even though my selling price is somewhat high for used phone.
I’m in a huge dilemma now because I don’t know what to get… will it be:
Sony Ericsson K608i

Pros:
-Cheap, currently priced at around P9500 at the gray market. With that price I’ll have extra money to get a new pair of shoes and some tees.
-3G, no need to look for airborne access hotspots to surf the web!
-I’m a loyal SE user for several years so adopting won’t be a problem
Con:
-It kinda looks a bit ugly
Motorola Razr V3x
Pros:
-It’s sleek and looks soooo cool…
-2 megapixel camera and expandable memory
-3g capable
Con:
-I have to sell my iPod Radio Remote to be able to afford this. Any takers? Only P2,200, used for a month ![]()
OK, what the hell am I doing? I’m suppose to be doing this big-ass java program for my operating systems class that is due on Monday and I’m here posting an entry about a stupid phone?
Anyone on Skype? I am so lovin’ the service… Skype me: captainmark12
There’s still hope in the world, that PLDT Tech support guy that I talked to solved my problem. I’m now plugged-in again, wirelessly…woo hoo! I miss you Sydney Bristow, the women of Wisteria Lane, the doctors of Seattle Grace Hospital and the gang from Newport. Downloads galore!
You know what, my dog is just psycho. Watch this shocking video footage…

Thursday morning. Nothing special, just eating my lunch and getting ready for school when all of a sudden I hear the high-pitched, earth shattering voice of my mom, “MARRRKKKK! NANDITO NA YUNG DI-ES-EL!” I almost choked on my food and hurriedly whizzed down several plight of stairs. I almost hugged the PLDT install guy but hesitated because it’s highly inappropriate. Thank god after 4 weeks of no broadband! After a quick set-up and the install guy mumbling that he is hungry, my DSL is up and ready. Pity I had to go to school, like, right away but didn’t without firing up first my bittorrent cleint and downloaded 3 episodes of Lost that I have missed.
An hour and a half of pure snoozefest (my professor can make anyone sleep with just one word), I went to Rockwell to watch Mission: Impossible 3. Considering it’s directed by J.J. Abrams (same guy who did Lost and Alias), I have high expectations and what do you know, it delivers! Oh, I’m talking about DSL so scrap that…
Arrived at home around 6pm and surf, downloaded, surf, downloaded until the wee hours of the morning. I didn’t want to sleep but I had to because there’s drool all over my Mac’s keyboard.
Friday morning. Ate my breakfast and snatched again my mac to what else? Surf. Enjoyed it for around 2 hours but at around 10:30 am, my connection was suddenly lost and I have no idea what caused it. Thinking it was no big deal and it will probably be back up in an hour or so, I went on with my day as usual.
Sunday afternoon. STILL NO DSL! Repeated calls to PLDT tech support only leaves me wanting to insert my hand on the phone receiver to choke the idiot on the other end. I have no idea what to do anymore as no one is giving me any help on how to fix this connection. I only have one hope left tomorrow, I’m gonna text the install guy and hopefully he will help sort this out.
There, if you’re thinking about getting broadband, if you have a choice, stay away from PLDT or Smart Bro (stupidest name ever). They both have the worst broadband service in this country and a highly incompetent tech support. To DSL tech support people: god, at least have Mac OS X on your “fix-script” and it’s not pronounced as “ex” but 10, idiots.
