Hey! It’s Christmas!!! Typing this while inside the car on the way to the Powerplant Mall to shop (it’s my mom’s treat ehehhe). We just came from visiting my aunt in Novaliches which has become a Christmas tradition.
As much as I want this Christmas to be the best ever, it just can’t happen because I have a cold. I was feeling horrible since yesterday and I almost fainted while attending the Christmas Eve mass. Bummer huh?
It’s my first Christmas that I have a job so naturally, it’s the first ever that I’m giving out presents to people outside my family. And may I say that I went all out?
To my mom and dad: Timex wristwatches
To my sister: Tommy Hilfiger Erin Slippers
To my uncles: Flashlight (batteries not required) and a “World’s greatest tito” plaque. My other uncle received a Cadbury Dairy Milk chocolate bar for his sweet tooth.
To Ryan: Crumpler Skivvy Laptop Bag
To Girlie: White Chucks
Some well thought-out gifts for the rest of my friends and a whole lotta toys for my inaanaks.
I know I shouldn’t expect something in return for those gifts but I got what I wanted anyhow. I got the Fossil wallet that I wanted from Ryan, my sister’s gift is on the way, my mom is taking me shopping and the best gift that I got is the one from my Dad…
A Canon Ixus 55 Digital Camera!!! I can’t fucking believe it…I wanted a digital camera ever since I got my mac and the Ixus is perfect because I can bring it everywhere. But since I’m such a good son (yeah, I am! ehehe)…I just said to my dad that I’ll pay him 10 grand for the camera so that he could buy his own. it’s his dream to get a Powershot S2 I think.
Obviously, this is my first post in a looonng time. I got a Mac! It’s a pearly-white iBook G4 and I got it about 3 months ago. I lied about the pearly-white thing, it’s now filthy-white ![]()
Guess what? It’s thursday and I’m not at work. I figure I take a break since it’s finals week in our school and my head is killing me. I’m now doing my homework here at UCC in Rockwell but I ended up pigging out because the food here is delicious! I can hear my wallet crying now.
Anyway, catch ya sometime…gotta get back on doing those homeworks…
A month. That’s how long I haven’t been blogging. A million things happened since then but I don’t have the gift of time anymore to divulge all of them. To cut it short, life is good. The school part? Not so much and I couldn’t care less. I still wish to enroll next term but I’m taking it slow, maybe just a couple of subjects.
I still have a mind-numbing headache until now so I couldn’t write any further. Bye for now or for long, depends on when I will be in the mood to write again.
Guess what? We. Got. The. Job. How is that freakin’ possible? Who cares! I am now a full-time PHP programmer at some-company (I don’t want to say it yet, I might jinx it
) in Valero Street, Makati. I still can’t effing believe it even until now. Then why am I still miserable? Because I am also a FULL-TIME STUDENT at some-school in Makati. I sorted out my schedule with one of my professors and the other one will be alright with it, I hope. And oh, my thesis groupmates are so going to kill me. Next time you go to Ayala and see a walking zombie with humongous eyebags? I’ll bet you a hundred bucks that it’s me. Hmm…I wonder what will I do with my first salary?
It’s Valentine’s Day and what am I doing here blogging? It’s because I’ve got no plans. Zip. Zilch. Nada. It’s a stupid non-holiday anyway so why celebrate it (guess where all the bitterness is coming from). I wanted to ask out somebody when she told me that she also doesn’t have any plans for tonight but I just couldn’t do it. I am so freakin’ stupid.
Went to school as usual this morning and it’s kinda creepy in there because all students are wearing black. I guess the silent protest pushed through. Good thing I also wore a black polo and not be deemed an “outsider” again.
And oh, we had our second job interview at Broadlines last Thursday. I was shaking so much but words still manage to came out off my mouth. That’s the first time I ever had a conversation with an American that lasted more than a minute. It is a pretty big deal since I always thought I’m only good in written but not in spoken english. Thanks to Kat for that daily english practice over the phone, I owe you one!
Waiting is excruciating. I just can’t explain how awesome it is if we manage to get the job. I love the job, the office, the people and the location. It’s a couple of blocks away from my college, a step away from the gym, and Starbucks and KFC are both just around the corner. And oh, Greenbelt is also just a walkway away. Taking the job means much much lesser time to sleep and do the things that I love (tv, movies, surfing about nonsense stuffs) but I don’t give a damn because I’m being productive. In case I haven’t mentioned, we are applying to become PHP programmers. Pretty serious stuff.
