It’s the weekend and I’m having a horrible time. It started yesterday when I’m suppose to meet-up with a friend (if you’re reading this, you know who you are…eheheh) and ended up with him cancelling due to ‘various conditions he cannot control’. That is after I’ve went back to our house, faced the rush hour traffic while in a stinky bus, walked from EDSA to Rufino, waited for 3 hours and drank 2 tall-sized lattes. It’s alright though since I had a seven and a half hour break and I’ve got nothing to do anyway. Went back to school at 7:30 pm only to find out that our professor would just say a couple of sentences and dismiss us early. Bummer.
Today, woke-up at 5 in the morning to practice driving. I still don’t know how to park right! If that wasn’t an empty parking lot, I might have hit a dozen cars. Went to school at 8 am only to find out that we’re going spend 4 hours in the computer lab to finish our machine problem. I hate assembly language…I don’t care how small or fast programs will run if written in assembly, you can’t appreciate it anyway after your brain explodes.
Decided to spend my four and a half hour break at Powerplant to finally watch A Very Long Engagement. Found out that I don’t have enough money in my wallet after I had my lunch. Went to ATM at the basement, card not working. Tried the ATM in the top floor, card not working. Tried the ATM a couple of blocks away, card still not working. Ended up going home with only 20 bucks in my pocket, just enough for the fare.
I’m just now going to stay here at home. I’m not going to attend my Java class to avoid any more bad luck. Here’s hoping they don’t do anything important.
Another boring Thursday for me since I stayed home the whole day, writing code for my Java homework. I still don’t get this whole classes thing…damnit.
I’m loving my iPod day-by-day. I went to the bank and deposit my payment for my new host (gonna register markcas.com soon) and I thought since I’m passing by Nurniza’s to drop-off some CDs and get paid in return, I figure I’ll just deposit all my money. When I arrived at Iza’s house, she won’t answer my calls since she’s in deep sleep! I ended up just leaving the CDs at the gate and walked home in the scorching heat–I can’t exactly tell how far but it’s VERY VERY far. Of course, I can’t do it all without some music to accompany me…(listening to Sister Hazel which is a band I recently discovered).
The past 2 days has been interesting. Tuesday, Jon and I went to Ayala to apply for a job. You’ve read it right, A JOB. He talked me into doing this web-designing stuffs professionally so we checked out some companies that are looking for designers. One of them is actually making sites with, ehem, adult content!!! Bwahahaha…can you imagine doing that for a living…designing porn sites? Awesome…not that I’m a pervert or anything because I’m seriously not
Wednesday, went to Gateway to watch Elektra with Grace. I adore Jennifer Garner and all (big Alias fan and not to mention JG in those red costume…again, me not a pervert) but the movie sucks ass! Soundtrack’s awesome though…I specially like the tracks from Evanescence, Megan McCauley, Jet and Switchfoot.
I got the latest Alias episode waiting to be watched so I gotta go now…see ‘ya.
My iPod is making me spend loads of cash I can’t imagine spending before. Yesterday I went from mall to mall looking for solutions to remove the scratches on my 2-week old gadget and I found iCleaner which costs an unbelievably expensive 1500 pesos! It’s a small damn bottle for goodness’ sakes. Then I bought a clear protector so that I don’t have to use my bulky iSkin and it costs another P950!
Gateway cinemas rock, by the way. The screen is humongous and the sound system is awesome. I don’t like the seats though, it’s a bit hard and uncomfortable at first. I can’t wait when cinema 10 opens–La-Z-Boy seats baby!
My class schedule this term officially sucks. I’m here at home because I have, get this, a 7.5 HOUR BREAK on my MWF classes! Plus I have to move my workout from 10:30am to noon which means more people to hog the equipments. You know what, I’m always wondering how come the people at my gym are big, buff guys whereas beginners like me are almost non-existent? I mean those guys gotta start somewhere right? My guess is that newbies gave easily up or they just gave up. Ehehe, I’m mean but it’s true! Heck, if I’m not locked-in with them for a year then I would have given up months ago. Funny thing, It’s very uncomfortable the day after workout sice you’re whole body is just aching but I’m actually looking forward to those.
Arghhh…I just remembered again that I have to go back to school at 7:30 PM!!! This really sucks…
First day of vacation, guess what did I do? Went to Quiapo and check out some DVDs to watch this very short 2-week break. Wasn’t able to buy anything though, they’re all crap and we all know that there’s no way I’m going to buy pirated copies of Prisoner of Azkaban or else I’ll ruin my Harry Potter collection (”What a geek”–says the voice in your head).
Got the money from my sister last night and she has no idea how much I’m thankful for that. In this day and age and your school is just a step away from Glorietta, you wouldn’t survive living off a measly allowance. She wouldn’t be happy though if she finds out I’m spending it on useless stuffs.
I’m going to Gateway again tomorrow to watch Harold and Kumar Goes to White Castle. I can easily hop on to Powerplant to see that movie at a cheaper price but I figure it’s my last chance to see a movie at the new Cineplex 10 this year since next week’s all festival movies.
And oh, some of my titles are, ehem, ‘creative’ so you could try looking ‘em up in a dictionary and see how they are related to my post.
