Am I the greatest son or what? See, I overheard my dad telling my mom that he wants to watch an IMAX movie but couldn’t do so because he thinks the ticket admission price is too expensive. He’s so damn curious that he’s always asking me what’s it like watching an IMAX movie which I find funny because who else do I get the money from to watch that IMAX movie? Well, anyway, father’s day is coming up so I thought why not treat him to an IMAX movie? Not just any IMAX movie but *the* IMAX movie which is Superman Returns: The IMAX 3D Experience? Gee, I sounded like a broken record there.
Anyway, I forced myself not to buy anything from Starbucks or McDonald’s or whatever just so that I could save up money to buy a couple extra tickets for my mom and dad. I also got a couple of tickets for myself and Girlie because I promised her I would treat her a couple of weeks ago, back when the time I didn’t think I would be so broke. So, anyway I spent around 1400 pesos just so we could see the Man of Steel wears his underwear on the outside. Funny, I’m not even a Superman fan, bring me the X-Men anytime. At least I get a free 1 hour internet prepaid card (which is useless) and a complimentary IMAX ticket (which is awesome). Oh, despite the high demand of those precious tickets, I was able to get nice middle seats thanks to the super nice ticket lady. Girlie and I will watch on July 2 while my parents will see it on the 4th. Can’t fucking wait.
It was gloomy when we left MoA this afternoon and I was able to take this nice shot of the globe…

nice and kinda creepy!
